Description
Rysomep Injection is a sterile, lyophilized formulation containing Esomeprazole Sodium BP 40 mg, intended for intravenous (I.V.) administration. This proton pump inhibitor (PPI) provides rapid and sustained suppression of gastric acid secretion by blocking the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells.
Indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Rysomep is especially useful when oral therapy is not suitable. It is administered under medical supervision in hospital or clinical settings, offering prompt symptom relief and protecting the gastrointestinal mucosa during acute acid-related episodes.
